JOB DESCRIPTION The Fiber Splicer is responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables in underground and aerial applications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Fusion splices SM ribbon and loose tube fiber optic cables, to initiate or terminate various types of fiber optic connectors (ST, SC, LC)., • Installs and tests pressurized and non-pressurized closures on all types and sizes of cable., • Analyzes and troubleshoots basic technical problems or issues., • Reviews, interprets, and works with various maps, drawings, blueprints and testing documents., • Performs daily testing and maintenance of splicing and testing equipment., • Performs optical continuity and conformance testing., • Makes splicing rearrangements on existing facilities in underground, aerial and building work locations., • Adheres to company policies, regulations, procedures, and principles., • 1-3 Years Experience with installation and testing of fiber optic cables., • Working knowledge of using various fusion splicing and optical testing equipment including, Alcoa Fujikura, GN Net Test, EXFO, Fitel, Sumitomo, and Viavi., • Working knowledge of GS150 and GS350 Fiber Jetters., • Ability to climb and work at elevations (e.g., from ladders, poles, lift trucks, etc.)., • Ability to work in confined spaces., • Safety-conscious., • Health insurance, • Dental insurance, • Vision insurance, • 401(k), • Paid time off, • Referral program

Now hiring a Plumbing/HVAC Sales Associate to work directly with our customers. Candidate will build relationships with contractor & builder customers as well as walk-in and telephone customers. Knowledge of product and experience in plumbing and HVAC a plus! Our next team member will: • Provide excellent customer service skills by going above and beyond customer expectations, • Work closely with other team members, • Maintain store and counter appearance while also controlling inventory, • Solve our customers' needs in plumbing and HVAC, • Create and foster new relationships with contractors, builders and customers., • Drive sales activity with outbound phone calls to contractor accounts, • Stay knowledgeable on products and options in this ever-changing field, • Handle orders and returns of merchandise accurately, • Work with driver in warehouse for receiving and loading of orders.Requirements:, • Some knowledge of plumbing and HVAC, • Trustworthy and friendly personality, • Problem-solving skills, • Knowledge of sales or counter sales, • Must be able to lift 50lbs
