About the Role We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing construction and property development team. This hands-on role will support the electrical installation and maintenance needs of both our new developments and existing properties. The ideal candidate is licensed, dependable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in delivering quality work. Key Responsibilities * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial buildings * Interpret and follow electrical plans, blueprints, and technical diagrams * Ensure all installations are completed in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes * Coordinate with project managers and construction crews on project timelines and job requirements * Troubleshoot issues and perform diagnostics using appropriate tools and techniques * Ensure job site safety and cleanliness, adhering to OSHA regulations and company policies * Mentor apprentices and support training of junior team members * Accurately complete work logs, inspection reports, and job site documentation What We're Looking For * Valid New York State Journeyman Electrician license * Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential or light commercial electrical work * Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes * Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams * Ability to work independently and as part of a field crew * Comfortable working outdoors and in various field conditions * Strong problem-solving and communication skills * A passion for craftsmanship, sustainability, and quality Bonus if you have: * Experience with energy-efficient systems, solar integration, or smart home technologies * OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification * Familiarity with multifamily housing projects What We Offer * Competitive hourly wage based on experience * Opportunities for career growth and trade development * Supportive, values-driven company culture * Health and dental insurance * 401(k) with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Company-branded gear and tools provided
