The New York Yankees are looking to add a Lead Carpenter to our team. The Lead Carpenter will lead a team of carpenters and repairmen to handle various tasks within the Stadium. This is a union position and the selected candidate will be required to join the Service Employees International Union, Local 32BJ. Primary Responsibilities: • Supervise and lead a team of carpenters and seat repairpersons., • Perform skilled carpentry tasks including framing, trim, cabinetry, door/window maintenance, and finish work., • Plan and coordinate project activities, events and stadium conversions., • Order materials and tools, ensuring supplies are available., • General handyman repairs; troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions on-site., • Door and lock maintenance and repairs., • Patching and painting., • Collaborate with other trades such as electricians and engineers., • Other duties as assigned.
