You’re someone who thrives in fast-paced operations, takes pride in your work, and enjoys being relied on as the “go-to” expert for everything from EV vans to mobile battery power units. Our clients range from film and TV productions to live events, and your mission is clear: deliver clean, reliable, turnkey power solutions every time. This role isn’t about managing from the sidelines—you’ll be actively testing systems, keeping vehicles spotless, and ensuring every cable and battery is field-ready. What You’ll Do 1. Technical Maintenance & Troubleshooting • Perform electrical, mechanical, and light software diagnostics on fleet systems, batteries, and inverters., • Serve as a tech liaison with manufacturers to coordinate repairs, source parts, and apply firmware updates., • Use multimeters and tools to inspect both low-voltage DC setups and AC distribution., • Stay proactive—regularly test equipment, monitor State of Charge (SOC), and prevent issues before they reach clients. 2. Fleet Readiness & Presentation • Maintain the “Saniset Standard” by ensuring every piece of gear is charged, functional, and looking sharp., • Handle basic vehicle detailing, wiping down gear, and inspecting returns for wear or damage., • Maintain SOC levels and storage protocols to maximize equipment life and reliability. 3. Client Support & Power Planning • Collaborate with clients to calculate power needs, including wattage, peak loads, and run times., • Deliver brief, clear equipment demos and training tailored for production crews., • Ensure the proper unit is deployed for each project’s technical and logistical demands. 4. Operations & Logistics • Track and update all gear data in the rental management system., • Manage physical check-ins/check-outs, confirming all adapters, cables, and accessories are present., • Drive vans and tow mobile units safely to client sites or production stages as needed., • Keep accurate records of maintenance, battery health, and system status. What You Bring • Experience: 5–8 years in mechanical/electrical systems, event production, or rental operations., • Mindset: A self-starter who takes initiative the moment something looks off—whether it’s a low battery or a dusty van., • Technical Skill: Comfortable with power calculations (Volts/Amps/Watts) and reading technical manuals., • Driving Confidence: Clean license, trailer towing experience, and ability to maneuver large vehicles. (CDL a plus.), • Forklift experience: Must be able to operate and lightly maintain a forklift., • Communication: Skilled at translating tech-speak into clear, friendly client conversations.
