Job DescriptionPosition Description: Day & Nite is seeking experienced Cooking Equipment Technicians across Tiers 3 to 5 to join our dynamic and growing service team. These roles offer a clear path for technical growth and professional development in servicing commercial kitchen equipmentfrom gas and steam to advanced electric units. Technicians will work in the field, supporting clients in the foodservice industry with expert-level repair, maintenance, and customer service.Tier 3 Intermediate Cooking Equipment TechnicianKey Responsibilities:Repair and maintain gas-powered kitchen equipment such as convection ovens, fryers, griddles, and tilt skilletsService smaller appliances including food processors and coffee machinesOperate safely under CFESA Gas CertificationBegin hands-on exposure to steam and slicer equipment (Tier 4 units)Accurately log service jobs and updates using Tech AnywhereProvide field mentorship to Tier 1 and Tier 2 techniciansQualifications:CFESA Gas Certification required (or ability to obtain)2+ years of relevant field service experienceStrong understanding of gas-powered commercial kitchen equipmentTier 4 Advanced Cooking Equipment TechnicianKey Responsibilities:Service steam-powered units, including steamers, boosters, and slicersPerform preventative maintenance (PMs) on advanced equipmentOperate under CFESA Steam CertificationSupport larger service calls and assist in diagnosing complex issuesProvide documentation, field reports, and customer communicationMentor junior technicians and assist in on-the-job trainingQualifications:CFESA Steam Certification required (or ability to obtain)35 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment serviceSolid troubleshooting and customer service skillsTier 5 Expert Cooking Equipment TechnicianKey Responsibilities:Independently diagnose and repair high-end electric kitchen equipment: combi ovens, pressure fryers, dishwashers, mixers, and rapid ovensTroubleshoot and repair advanced electric control systemsWork under CFESA Electric CertificationLead system installations and commissioning of new unitsServe as a field trainer and mentor for technicians across all levelsHandle escalated service calls and deliver expert-level client supportQualifications:CFESA Electric Certification required (or ability to obtain)5+ years of high-level technical experience in commercial food equipmentLeadership, training, and advanced diagnostic capabilities requiredWhy Join Day & Nite?Competitive pay based on experience and certification tierFull benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)Company vehicle and tools providedWork with a growing, nationwide team dedicated to foodservice excellence $20.00 - $45.00 Hourly
