Job DescriptionSales Representative – Group Charter Location: Uniondale, NY (Hybrid) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Work Model: Onsite with 1 remote day per week (not Monday) Compensation: $65,000 base salary + 10% uncapped commission About the Role We are seeking a driven Sales Representative – Group Charter to join our private aviation division, supporting group charter clients across corporate, government, relief agency, sports, and entertainment organizations. This role manages the entire charter sales and travel lifecycle, from initial inquiry through flight completion. Our clients rely on us to handle every detail — all they have to do is fly. Success in this role requires strong relationship management, proactive sales outreach, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional chartering experience. What You’ll Do • Manage group charter bookings from enquiry through completion, ensuring accuracy and high service standards, • Proactively target assigned prospect lists through outbound sales calls, emails, and meetings, • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, • Develop a deep understanding of aircraft options and the full chartering process, • Travel onboard charter flights as needed to support clients and ensure smooth operations, • Monitor and oversee flight departures (“flight watching”), which may occasionally include unsociable hours, • Research market trends, control costs, and manage deals with a focus on quality, value, and profitability, • Prepare and deliver client presentations with confidence, • Produce creative solutions to client needs and operational challenges, • Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, HR, and accounting teams to ensure seamless execution, • Sales experience or a strong interest in building a career in sales, • Confidence handling outbound calls and inside sales activity, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Strong phone etiquette and comfort handling client‑facing conversations, • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn, • Creative, solution‑oriented mindset, • Passion for client relationships and delivering a high‑level customer experience, • Interest in aviation and charter sales, • Award‑winning training program with one‑on‑one mentoring, • International training in London (HQ) — fully paid, • Base salary paid during training, • 9 clearly defined career levels from Trainee Broker to Director, • $65,000 base salary, • 10% uncapped commission on charter margins, • Company‑provided cell phone, • All business travel expenses covered, • Future hybrid flexibility (1 work‑from‑home day per week), • Private jet department based in Uniondale, • Cubicle‑style inside sales office, • Approximately 90 employees across Sales, HR, and Accounting, • Energetic, office culture, • Modern space with a cool break room and ping pong Metric-based growth progression from Trainee Broker to Director Job stability and leadership support of development Affordable health, dental and vision insurance plans through Aetna 401K retirement savings plan with generous employer match!
