Uses clear and complete communication with unit personnel when delivering information about changes in patient rhythm, • Initiating and discontinuing monitoring equipment on admission, transfer, or discharge. Performs configuration as necessary., • Performing clerical duties related to admission, discharge, and documentation of patient information from Central Telemetry. Answering telephone and communicating clearly when receiving information from units or providers., • Serving as a resource for training and troubleshooting to both Central Telemetry and clinical areas. Troubleshooting monitors with nursing staff and contacts Clinical Engineering as appropriate., • Maintaining and stocking all designated equipment, including telemetry, and transport monitors., • Developing a rapport and cooperative relationship with nursing and other members of the multidisciplinary care team., • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Diploma Required, • Successful completion of the Heart Monitor Tech Course/cardiac rhythm at any hospital, • Successful passing score on HUMC monitor technician arrhythmia exam, • Computer, order entry, basic Microsoft office, and excellent communication skills required. Must enjoy working with patients and families., • Must be flexible and able to rapidly adjust to changes, • Nursing Patient Care Asst or Unit Secretary work experiences in department-Hospital Setting is strongly desired, • Current & Active Monitor Tech work experience strongly desired, • Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for HealthCare Providers strongly preferred, • Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology of the heart is strongly preferred

Physical Therapist East Brunswick NJ Urgently Hiring PT owned practice We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team full time in East Brunswick NJ. Ideally, we are looking for a Physical Therapist that has excellent communication skills, fantastic patient rapport, and has a strong background in orthopedics and manual therapy. Vestibular and concussion management experience is helpful but not a deal breaker. Preferably, the incoming therapist has at least 2 years of experience, but we will consider motivated recent grads. The PT has dedicated support from our team with administrative assistance and technician to assist with care. Duties will include but may not be limited to: • Provide compassionate care for pets and their people, • Be knowledgeable in areas of vaccines, blood tests, fecal and urine collection, • Complete specialty testing protocols such as ACTH Stim, Biles Acids, LDDST, etc., • Safety and effectively restrain pets for team members, • Dispense medication as ordered and assist in our pharmacy, • Work with electronic medical record and document professionally, • Perform other duties as assigned, • Performs all duties in accordance with government regulations and hospital policies and procedures., • Prepares and maintains the exam rooms and treatment areas., • Assists the doctor in medical, surgical and dental procedures; prepares patients for surgery; assists the doctor in administering anesthetics; monitors patients during surgery and recovery; administers fluids., • Gives injections and administers oral medications., • Performs emergency procedures such as control of bleeding, resuscitation with oxygen, and external cardiac massage., • Performs clinical laboratory procedures such as fecal flotation exams, heartworm checks, skin scrapings, urinalysis, and fungal cultures; draws blood for laboratory analysis; maintains file of lab test results and ensures that test results are recorded in patient records., • Takes radiographs and performs EKGs., • Admits and discharges patients on the doctor's orders.
