Job Description The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan is seeking a creative, digitally-savvy Marketing Associate to support creative and analytical marketing efforts for our robust lineup of children and family, adult and fitness programming, as well as growing our membership types. This is an exciting opportunity to help promote the JCC's highly regarded adult and children's programs, our Health + Fitness facilities, and build and engage our robust community in New York's Upper West Side and beyond. As a hands-on contributor, the Marketing Associate will play a key role in growing awareness, engagement, and registrations across these areas. The ideal candidate will bring strong digital marketing and content creation skills and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, community-focused environment. The right person will have a passion for storytelling, engaging in person and online, using creative, analytical, and on-mission communications while learning the ropes of the Upper West Side's vibrant Jewish Community Center. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and will collaborate with marketing directors for each of the JCC's areas of focus and program directors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid social, search engine marketing (SEM), and organic social media., • Take responsibility for all marketing channels for one or two program areas of the organization, with guidance from a supervisor., • Create and manage content for various platforms: write email copy, develop social media posts, and assist with video or graphic content using tools like Canva., • Collaborate with team members and vendors to help produce print and digital collateral that aligns with program goals., • Manage social media content scheduling and engagement across main and program-specific accounts (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)., • Track and report on campaign results using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta insights, and email metrics to inform future strategies., • Help maintain project timelines using task management platforms like Monday.com or Asana. DIGITAL MARKETING & CONTENT EXPERTISE • Experience in content creation for web and social media, including writing, visual design using Canva or Adobe tools, and light video editing., • Basic understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, or similar platforms, • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, including Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and HubSpot., • Knowledge of social media marketing, including content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), YouTube, and LinkedIn., • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, • 3-5 years of marketing experience, ideally in digital-focused roles, • Proven experience developing engaging social content and/or email campaigns, • Excellent writing and communication skills, • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, • Self-starter who thrives in collaborative environments, • Able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time to perform work., • The ability to work in-person at our Upper West Side campus with some evening or weekend activities five days a week with hybrid flexibility.
