Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship Job Description Shipping & Receiving Supervisor Reporting To: Customer Service Manager OVERVIEW S/R Supervisor ensures compliance to the Company’s AS9100 standards, applicable procedures and work instructions; Oversees all daily activities related to incoming and outgoing shipments in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures materials, components, and finished goods are moved, received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. Hires and Trains new staff. Key Responsibilities • Supervise and coordinate all shipping and receiving operations, including scheduling, documentation, and logistics., • Ensure accuracy of all incoming materials and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and shipping documents., • Supervise and perform physical inspections of all incoming materials, supplies and components to verify quantity, quality and accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips., • Maintain proper inventory control and storage organization within the warehouse, • Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Quality Departments to align material flow with manufacturing needs., • Oversee the safe and efficient movement, storage, and staging of materials, components, finished goods throughout the manufacturing facility., • Ensure proper identification, labelling, and traceability of materials at all stages of production and storage, • Monitor and manage material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and the likes., • Oversee the scheduling, use and maintenance of company vehicles used for material transport, deliveries and pick-ups., • Ensure the drivers follow company policies, traffic laws and safety procedures at all times., • Verify that vehicles are inspected regularly for cleanliness, mechanical condition, and required safety, • Monitor fuel usage and implement cost-effective driving and routing practices., • Manage carrier relationships and coordinate freight pickups and deliveries., • Negotiate and manage carrier schedules, shipping rates, and service levels., • Monitor carrier performance metrics (on-time delivery, damage, rates, cost efficiencies), • Prepare and verify all shipping documents including bills of lading, packing slips, and export paperwork when applicable, • Familiar in international shipments with strong understanding of global shipping requirements and customs procedures., • Track shipments and proactively communicate delays or exceptions to internal teams and customers., • Verify that all shipments meet customer requirements, packaging standards, labelling accuracy and transport requirements., • Train, lead, and evaluate shipping and receiving staff; promote a safe, efficient and team-oriented work environment., • Conduct regular meetings to communicate expectations, safety reminders, schedules and process updates., • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements, • Leads process improvements and standardization within the Shipping & Receiving DepartmentQualifications, • At least High School diploma or equivalent required., • 3-5 years of experience in sipping/receiving or warehouse operations, • Prior supervisory or leadership experience a must., • Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills, • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, • Attention to detail and accuracy, • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, • Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines., • Team leadership and coaching ability Additional Information Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Statement At CoreDux USA, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
