Key Responsibilities for the Position: · Services, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs a variety of petroleum equipment and mechanical shop equipment including fuel dispensers, pumps, lines, hoses, valves, and leak detection monitoring equipment, automotive lifts, air and petroleum dispensing hose reels, pumps, lubricating equipment, air compressors, and related equipment; keeps daily record of work orders completed. · Reports equipment or process failures in order to protect Company assets. · Services, repairs, and maintains fuel storage and dispensing equipment and mechanical equipment used in maintenance and repair. · Demonstrates superior seamless customer service, integrity, and commitment to innovation, efficiency, and fiscally responsible activity. · Communicate with customers and explain technical issues to non-technical people. · Present yourself professionally as a company representative and be prompt when making service calls. Requirements: Qualifications: · Knowledge of procedures, practices, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of liquid fuel and hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical shop support equipment. • Wayne's Dispenser Certified, • Site Controller VASC Certified · Skill in care and use of shop tools and equipment. · Skill in servicing, repairing and rebuilding liquid fuel dispensers, pumps, piping, valves and vapor recovery systems. · Skill in diagnosis and field repair of petroleum product leak detection systems. · Possess experience and/or knowledge of inventory control and management. · Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English language. · Ability to read and understand technical schematics and technical service bulletins. · Ability to work cooperatively with other team members. · Ability to lift arms above shoulder level to work on equipment. · Excellent mechanical abilities

Job Description Military Service members participating in a SkillBridge program are NOT eligible for wages or other benefits. (May substitute directly related education for experience.), • Must be able to work from blueprint or sketches., • Must be able to use calibrated tools and measuring devices., • Must be able to set up and operate all standard shop equipment., • Determines work to be done on assigned jobs and proceeds accordingly., • Work from blueprints, sketches, diagrams CATIA model or verbal instructions and performs necessary calculations for angles, circumference, diameter and bend allowances, using shop math to fabricate and/or install complete or major assemblies and sub-assemblies., • Modifies completed assemblies and sub-assemblies, when necessary., • Performs check of fabricated items and/or checkout of systems installed., • Utilize aircraft tooling to perform precision sheet metal operations and installations., • Install interior shell panels and completes various interior operations as required., • Sets up and operates standard shop equipment, • Recommends and suggests improved production methods., • Performs all work in accordance with established work schedules and in accordance with FAA or Company Standards., • Assists/trains others as required in performance of their job., • Works in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and Company Safety procedures., • Proper documentation in DFJ’s MES System, • Conceives, manufactures and adapts installation tools, when necessary, to improve repetitiveness and work hours with managements approval. This opportunity is part of the DoD SkillBridge program and is unpaid during the SkillBridge training period. However, if you are offered a position following your SkillBridge internship, the salary you can expect typically falls between $26 and $44.31 per hour/per year.
