Job DescriptionDescription: JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The primary function of the Flight Instructor II is to train customers to become pilots capable of safely demonstrating the skills and knowledge necessary to operate the aircraft for which they are being trained. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Flight instructors with Central Flying Academy report directly to the Flight Training Department Manager. Further, if training students under FAR Part 141 regulations issues specifically related to FAR Part 141 will be addressed to the Chief Pilot over the Part 141 Program. WORKING CONDITIONS • The employee will be required to travel throughout all maintenance spaces, hangars, and across aircraft parking ramps, exposed to the temperature ranges found in Little Rock, AR., • The Flight Instructor II will be aware of potential hearing damage from noise related to the operation of aircraft and take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and their student pilots., • The primary job function of the Flight Instructor II is to train student pilots using the approved syllabus for the course of instruction being conducted., • The Flight Instructor II has authority over the operation of aircraft in which flight instruction is being given as per FAA regulations., • The Flight Instructor II is responsible for the safe operation of aircraft in which flight instruction is being given., • The Flight Instruction II is required to report any unsafe operation of Central Flying Academy equipment or aircraft to the Flight Training Manager immediately., • The Flight Instructor II has the authority to remove from service aircraft which have been found unsafe for flight and report that aircraft to the Flight Training Manager., • The Flight Instructor II is responsible for insuring student pilots at Central Flying Academy are trained to the standards set by Central Flying Academy and FAA regulations., • The Flight Instructor II will train student pilots using the approved syllabus for the course of instruction being conducted., • The Flight Instructor II will be issued a copy of the Flight Instructor Guidelines at the time of hire and is expected to follow the Guidelines. Any deviation from the Flight Instructor Guidelines must be approved by the Flight Training Manager., • The Flight Instructor II must maintain a professional bearing at all times. Also, information of a confidential nature regarding students, fellow employees, or Central Flying Academy must be treated as such., • The measure of the Flight Instructor II’s performance is based on the number of students the instructor completes through the training program and the % pass rate of the students completing the course of training., • The Flight Instructor II is expected to complete at minimum 5 students per calendar year., • The Flight Instructor II is expected to maintain a minimum 80% pass rate on student pilots taking their check rides for the first time. Requirements: REQUIREMENTS Education • Required: High School Diploma or GED, • Required: Certified Flight Instructor Certificate - CFI, • Certified Flight Instructor Instrument - CFII, • 3rd Class Medical, • The Flight Instructor II must have the piloting and people skills necessary to be an effective teacher., • The Flight Instructor II must be able to provide good customer service to the student pilot/customer., • The Flight Instructor II must be able to pass the FAA mandated medical exam and maintain that same physical condition in order to continue working as an instructor for Central Flying Service LLC., • Must be able to read, understand, and interpret instructions and information using the English language., • Must be able to effectively communicate new concepts to student pilots and develop methods for insuring the student pilot can demonstrate an understanding of the concept once taught.

Job Description POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under the leadership of the Director of Education and Assistant Director of Education, the Theory/Practical Instruction provides training in industry related theory, hair design, haircutting, coloring, permanent waving, shop management, nail care, skin care, and all facets regarding Arkansas Cosmetology requirements. Responsibilities include student advisement on academic issues, curriculum development, recruitment and retention efforts, academic records completion, student record inventory and management, committee work, event planning, and participation in professional development and continuing education classes. Successful candidate must be knowledgeable and able to teach classes, perform demonstrations in Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Manicuring. Experienced in digital learning platforms such as Google Classroom and Milady MindTap. Work Schedule: Days and nights MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Present all materials designated to be taught in theory classes, • Supervise and evaluate student classroom, practical, and clinic floor work, • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, class participation, and testing, • Arrange for guest speakers when appropriate, • Maintain supplies of student handouts and testing material, • Report test grades, on proper form, to office for recording on permanent record, • Grade and return student work in a timely manner, • Check student appearance daily ensuring student uniform compliance, • Instruct students on proper sanitation methods and oversee sanitation efforts throughout the day, • Classroom management; ensure student compliance with school rules and regulations, • Enact disciplinary actions in accordance with the schools outlined disciplinary procedures Current Arkansas Cosmetology or Barber License Current Arkansas Teacher Training License High School Diploma or GED Experience: Two (2) years’ experience as a licensed practitioner | desired At least one (1) year experience as a classroom instructor | preferred Skills: 1.
