Job Description We are hiring for Summer Camp Counselors! We are looking for Head Counselors (21 yrs and older) for our Outdoor Youth Programs! Spend your Summer months in the beautiful outdoors teaching campers the basics of fishing. Our fishing camps range from 6-8 yr olds and 9-14 yr olds. We visit private and public waters to fish for bass, sunfish, catfish, crappie, and whatever is biting! We have access to kayaks, canoes, and john boats that the campers utilize on the daily. Our main goal is to help campers build a positive relationship with the outdoors. Applicants must work well in groups as well as be responsible, adaptive, and outgoing. Flexible hours, competitive pay, and a fun work environment! The job duties include leading instructional activities, keeping campers safe in the outdoors, communicating with peers and camp parents, and helping to create a fun week! Preferred work experience: Experience that complements being a camp counselor such as: Camp Counselor, School Teacher, Outdoor Educator, Bike Instructor, Raft Guide, etc. Helpful experience, but not required: Knowledge of fishing, mountain biking, rock climbing kayaking, canoeing, hiking, experience working or interacting with youth Skills • Patient and reliable, • Experience working with children, • Familiarity with various outdoor activities, • Energetic and positive personality, • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (doing activities outside in the Summer) Visit our website at to check out our camps!
