Little Rock Police Department offers: • Hiring Incentive of $10,000 - $5000 ispayable upon completion of first six months and $5000 is payable upon completion of twelve months, of 24 month probationary period., • Holiday Premiums available up to 4% of annual salary., • Starting salary of up to $57,928 dependent on experience, • Salary Step Increases up to $88,275.20 at 15 years of service., • Benefits Effective First Day of Employment With No Waiting Period, • Residency Incentive Program of up to $5,000, • Longevity Pay, • Shift differentials., • Second language incentives available to qualified candidates, • Educational Incentives payable immediately after Academy graduation. OTHER COMPENSATION LONGEVITY PAY (provided to all employees) Employees of all ranks will receive a longevity bonus amounting to: (a) Six (6) dollars per month for each year of service up to and including the fifteenth (15th) year. (b) Eight (8) dollars per month for each year of service from the sixteenth (16th) year through the completed twenty-eight (28th) year. LEAVE(S) Vacation leave will be earned according to Arkansas State Statute 14-52-106. Employees will accrue the equivalent of fifteen (15) days (based on an eight hour day) annually. Vacation leave may be accumulated; however, a maximum of three hundred sixty (360) hours may be carried over to the next year.
