We also perform maintenance work for property management companies - repairs, replacements, and rental turnovers. Job Description GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Technician is a heavy equipment mechanic that specializes in the modernization and repairing of cranes. This position may perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades; as well as solving complex problems when the crane malfunctions. This position must encompass self-sufficiency, leadership abilities, effective communication and professionalism in an effort to lead field technicians and be the liaison between HCSG management and customers. The Technician position works in a safety-first type of environment. HCSG is a 24/7 service company that requires technicians to be available on-call and provide after hour or even weekend services as required due to customer needs. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Must be able to be on-call and provide after hour services as required., • Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations., • Train and mentor field technicians, • Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generating inspection reports and repair orders., • Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager during the day so that work can be scheduled and completed on a daily basis., • Consult with customers regarding all repair and safety related issues and discuss recommendations that will assist the customer with improving their services., • Maintain all company issued equipment, vehicle, and assets in a safe and proper working order., • Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Notify immediate supervisor of any deficiencies., • Maintain supply of HCSG forms and miscellaneous materials in the company vehicle., • Maintain the ability to work with others in team environment., • Attend company provided trainings and seminars as required., • Participate in HCSG 5 Marks program The work is labor intensive. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs on a rare basis. This position requires 90% of frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, overhead reaching, bending, squatting and prolonged standing and sitting. It requires occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling. The position also involves great hand and eye coordination. Heights exceedingly over 50 feet from time to time are normal to incur on a daily basis to maintain a crane. Employee will be required to travel from time to time (20-50%) and must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate needs of HCSG branches and customers. This includes on-call and overtime. Travel out of town may be required at the discretion of the company. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is normally performed inside or outside (pending customer requirements) with varying degrees of extreme hot and cold temperatures depending on the weather. During summer months, temperatures can exceed 120 degrees. This position will be frequently exposed to noise, heights, fumes, dust, and odors. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • At least 5-7 years of crane repair & maintenance experience, • At least 3-4 of years electrical and/or mechanical experience in lieu of crane repair & maintenance experience., • Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record, • Must always commit to working and driving safely, • Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights, • Must have basic computer skills to work with web-based crane inspection programs, • Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team, • Knowledge of hand tools and/or possess hand tools PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Vocational/Technical training certificate Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background (DISA) and submit to random and annual drug testing as required.

Type: 6 month contract-to-hire Shift: Day Shift (5:00AM - 3:30PM, Mon - Thurs) Location: On-site, Vancouver, WA Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTO, and sick leave As a Test Technician, you will: • Perform functional testing on a variety of electronic assemblies with varying levels of complexity, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, • Operate and, when necessary, program the flying probe machine for PCB assembly testing, • Utilize standard electronics lab equipment to conduct tests and diagnostics, • Interpret assembly schematics and troubleshoot PCBA failures, • Occasionally perform vibration and/or temperature testing as required, • Support the maintenance, organization, and documentation of test fixtures and related equipment, • Communicate testing issues effectively to internal teams, • Record and track first-pass yield and defect data accurately, • Communicate redlines and updates to engineering, • Assist in the training of team members as required, • Adhere to and promote safety, ESD, ITAR, and QMS protocols, • Actively participate in Lean initiatives, • Continuously seek opportunities to improve product flow and reduce waste, • Follow procedures outlined in SFE quality documentation, • Ensure work meets or exceeds quality standards and is completed on time in accordance with production schedules, • Use the MES system to track job status and time accurately, • Participate in the review of test instructions during the quoting process RequirementsOur skills and experience wish list includes: • 1–2 years of experience testing electronic assemblies, or an Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, • General knowledge of electronic components and their functions, with the ability to interpret electronic schematics, • Familiarity with standard electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and related tools, • IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications preferred BenefitsParadigm offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTO, and sick days.
