The successful candidate will be responsible for performing pile driving inspections for bridge and roadway projects in accordance with SCDOT standards and specifications. Responsibilities: • Conduct pile driving inspections on bridge and roadway construction projects to ensure compliance with SCDOT standards., • Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project documentation., • Monitor contractor activities and verify that construction methods and materials meet project requirements., • Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for project stakeholders., • Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and other inspectors to resolve issues and maintain project timelines., • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations during construction activities., • SCDOT Foundation Technician certification is required., • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection, with a focus on pile driving and bridge/roadway projects., • Strong knowledge of SCDOT construction standards and procedures., • Excellent communication and report writing skills., • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
