Job Description Senior Marketing Coordinator SUMMARY The Senior Marketing Coordinator will help drive initiatives to enhance Johnston’s brand, market presence, and business portfolio in the areas of marketing and business development. Manage and/or assist with content and brand messaging in submittals, presentations, and PR material. EDUCATION • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or), • 10 years of marketing experience in architecture, engineering, or construction industry., • Exceptional creative writing and visual graphics skills., • Editing and proofreading technical information., • Organizational and time management skills. SKILLS OF THE JOB • Strong proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)., • Fluency with CRM Software (Deltek Vantagepoint a plus)., • Ability to effectively communicate through written, verbal, and visual communication., • Strong creation, editing, and proofreading abilities for messaging and content., • Aptitude for comprehending and communicating technical information to diverse audiences., • Ability to research clients and analyze trends in the market., • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills., • Ability to work independently or in a team environment, as required., • Ability to work efficiently and proactively., • Ability to maintain flexibility and resourceful to constantly changing needs and schedules. Proposal Management Organizes, coordinates, and controls activities involved in the preparation of marketing qualifications, proposals, submittals, and presentations. Ability to attend pre-proposal conferences, professional meetings, or other marketing-related events, as appropriate. Ability to prepare responses to forms, client questionnaires, and qualifying statements, as required. Updates and produces submittals for company registrations and listings. Creates the initial mock-up of proposals and writes portions of the proposals as appropriate. Creates visual graphics as needed for submittals. Coordinates with consultants to obtain information needed to be included in proposals or attend presentations. Updates new project sheets and personnel resumes to be used for marketing purposes. Oversees the maintenance of the marketing files. Maintains information for responses, project data, and office personnel data assuring that information is current, accurate, and appropriate. Provides input and collaboration with the management team to help establish priorities and protocols for responding to RFPs and other marketing related inquiries. Branding / Graphics Creates graphics for proposals, social media, interviews, presentations, specialty brochures, mailers, announcements, etc. Assists with maintaining brand integrity throughout Johnston. CRM Management Assists in CRM data entry and data management. Runs and distributes reports. Supervises active upkeep and use of contact databases – clients, holiday card lists, consultants, etc. Communications Creates effective publicity and marketing materials, articles and white papers, social media posts, executive messages, internal communication programs, award submittals and presentations. Assists in delivering the firm's messages to its external and internal audiences in alignment with the firm's business, marketing, and public relations strategies. Provides support as needed in updating certain portions of the website. CULTURE OF THE FIRM Fosters and maintains a collaborative relationship with the project team.
