Company Description & Perks: • Publicly traded company on a path of continuous growth, recognized by Forbes as a top global employer, • This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus, • Exceptional insurance coverage and 401(k) matching program (9%), effective upon hire, • Employer contribution to your Retirement Savings Plan account each pay period, • Vibrant company culture and collaborative team environment, • Access to excellent training programs for professional development, • Free fitness center membership, • Be at the forefront of innovation, applying machine learning to aerospace manufacturing General Ledger & Month-End Close • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger monthly., • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, identifying and resolving reconciling items in a timely manner., • Support the monthly close process, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to meet established close deadlines., • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to management and relevant business partners., • Perform PAE (Pre-Authorized Expenditure) and GASE (General and Specific Expense) variance analysis, communicating findings and trends to the finance team., • Support the Senior Financial Analyst with inventory-related reporting, standard cost revisions, and periodic forecasting activities.Accounts Receivable & Credit Management, • Monitor and actively manage the accounts receivable aging, proactively following up on past-due balances to support healthy cash flow., • Process credit memos and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) transactions accurately and in accordance with established policies.Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting, • Coordinate and maintain the revert/scrap scheduling and tracking process, including preparation and issuance of related invoices., • Assist with standard cost system updates and reconciliation of inventory-related accounts to the general ledger.Payroll Reconciliation, • Complete weekly and bi-monthly payroll reconciliations, ensuring data integrity between payroll systems and the general ledger.Process Improvement, • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline, automate, or otherwise improve accounting processes and internal controls. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance required., • Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment., • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and its application within a manufacturing or cost accounting context., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).Preferred Qualifications, • 2-3 years of direct exposure to standard cost accounting systems within manufacturing or aerospace., • Experience with ERP systems, particularly QAD, Oracle, or Hyperion; Visual Manufacturing Software experience is a plus., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders., • Self-motivated, with the ability to operate both as an independent contributor and as a collaborative team member., • Adaptable and intellectually curious, with a demonstrated desire for continuous learning and professional development.
