Location This is a full-time, in-person position in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Candidates must be able to work on-site and support attorneys with litigation and case management needs. Important Note Only candidates with 2–5 years of Personal Injury paralegal experience will be considered. Prior experience supporting Personal Injury litigation matters is required. Job Description The Personal Injury Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of Personal Injury litigation, from case preparation through trial support. Responsibilities include: • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses, • Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar platforms, • Manage and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely updates, • Review and summarize medical records, police reports, and other case documentation, • Assist with case development and litigation strategy, • Coordinate and assist in trial preparation, including preparation of trial binders, • Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, medical providers, and opposing counsel, • Conduct client and witness interviews to gather relevant case information, • Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court requirements, • Provide administrative and clerical support as needed, • Collaborate closely with attorneys and legal staff throughout the litigation process Qualifications • 2–5 years of Personal Injury paralegal experience required, • Strong experience in litigation support and case management, • Familiarity with New Jersey legal procedures and court requirements, • Proficiency in legal drafting, document review, and proofreading, • Strong research skills using LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar legal research platforms, • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, • Professionalism and strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information, • Trial preparation experience is a plus, • Spanish language proficiency is preferred, but not required, • Strong client communication and case coordination skills are preferred, • Compensation & Benefits, • Base salary: $75,000 – $100,000 per year, • Competitive bonus structure based on performance, • Paid Time Off, • Additional benefits may be discussed during the interview process Why You Will Love Working Here • This is an opportunity to join a litigation-focused personal injury practice where paralegals play an important role in case preparation, client support, and litigation outcomes., • You will work closely with experienced attorneys, contribute directly to case development, and support meaningful work on behalf of injured clients.
