Prep Cook 20/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Wash, peel, chop, slice, and measure ingredients according to recipes and production needs.
Prepare sauces, marinades, dressings, and other components in advance of meal assembly.
Label and store prepped ingredients properly to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination.
Assist with assembling meal components and packaging as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
Assist with inventory checks and notify supervisors of low stock or expired items.
Support dishwashing and kitchen cleaning tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food prep role preferred.
Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
Ability to follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
