Job Description Summary As an Account Manager, you combine excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to manage day-to-day client communications and relationships. You will also work directly with the client’s employees at the household level to understand their stories and identify solutions that best fit their needs. You will provide concierge-level service that includes administering financial tools, removing barriers to make a change, and enrolling members in the identified solution. You will work with multiple accounts, collaborating with an Account Team to develop and maintain client relationships and report on progress throughout the year. General Accountabilities • Deliver Value to the Client Through One-On-One Service to Members:, • Proactively outreach and build rapport quickly with members, • Educate members on healthcare options available to them and help them choose the one that best meets their unique needs, • Navigate complicated situations and find solutions, • Overcome objections, solve problems, and resolve members’ concerns, • Help members navigate application processes, • Document, track, and report members’ progress through EMS’s Education Adherence Process, • Build & Maintain Client Relationships:, • Develop a good relationship with the client, HR, and leadership team, • Be present in each account, including timely and professional communication, an appropriate onsite plan, and consistent activity reporting, • Maintain accurate and current data and notations in the CRM and data management systems, • Maintain a professional relationship with the benefits broker and other key influencers, • Prioritize work that creates the most value to the client, • Develop, Plan, and Implement Strategies for All Assigned Client Accounts, • Work with Account Team leadership to develop and implement an annual account work plan for each client, • Create account-level goals and prioritize work to drive value, • Participate in regular check-in meetings to align with team leadership, • Other:, • Update & maintain information about clients, employees, and opt-out programs, • Identify opportunities to improve our processes., • Experience:, • Holds or will obtain current health/life insurance license within 30 days of DOH, • 5+ years of experience in the health insurance industry is preferred, • Hard skills:, • Basic computer literacy (typing/data entry, managing email, basics of Excel, PowerPoint, Word), • Experience with CRM and cloud-based data storage is a plus, • Soft skills:, • Strong time management and organization, • Self-motivated and able to take initiative, • Excellent written and oral communication, • Excellent interpersonal communication; experience managing customer objections or complaints, • Thrive in a collaborative team environment, build positive working relationships, and provide excellent service to internal stakeholders, • Strong knowledge of insurance concepts (e.g., deductible, coinsurance, premiums, risk management), • Potential travel for on-site client visits as needed · Starting salary $60,000 – $80,000 annually, depending on experience · Bonus, salary increase, and career advancement available · Health insurance, Dental, & Vision; Life; STD; 401k w/match; generous PTO · Flex-work available after training period and will include a combination of in-office, client onsite, and remote work Company DescriptionStarted in 2004, Enrollment Management Services is a healthcare consulting firm that helps employers develop tools and programs to better support employee’s unique insurance needs and opportunities.
