    Now Hiring: Toddler Lead Teacher (2K Classroom) Bright Stars Daycare Center is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and dedicated Toddler Lead Teacher to join our growing team. We are looking for an educator who genuinely loves working with young children, creates a warm and engaging classroom environment, and is committed to helping every child learn, grow, and thrive. At Bright Stars Daycare Center, we believe that children learn best through play, exploration, positive relationships, and hands-on experiences. We are looking for a teacher who is patient, creative, dependable, and enthusiastic about early childhood education. Responsibilities * Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for toddlers. * Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. * Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. * Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members. * Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and daily documentation. * Supervise children at all times while ensuring their health and safety. Requirements: * Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education; or Currently enrolled in an associates program with more than 9 credits completed; or High school diploma with extensive Infant/Toddler experience. Required Before Employment * New York State and federal fingerprint clearance. * Comprehensive background checks, including the Statewide Central Register (SCR), as required by law. * Infant/Toddler/Adult CPR and First Aid Certification. * Annual Medical Health Examination and clearance to work. * Proof of immunizations and any additional health documentation required by the NYC Department of Health. * Eligibility to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working with toddlers (ages 2–3). * Strong classroom management and communication skills. * A caring, energetic, and positive attitude. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. * Commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education. We partner with daycares, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and community organizations to support the cognitive, social-emotional, communication, and developmental growth of neurodivergent learners and students with special needs. Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to provide school-based music therapy services in daycare, elementary, middle school, and high school settings throughout Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey. This is a one-year contract position offering a consistent schedule, a set number of weekly sessions, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships within school communities. Responsibilities • Plan and facilitate engaging, evidence-based music therapy sessions for neurodivergent learners and students receiving special education services., • Support student goals related to communication, social-emotional development, self-regulation, behavior, motor skills, and academic engagement., • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, therapists, and support staff., • Maintain session notes, documentation, and data collection as required., • Utilize IEP goals and objectives to guide intervention planning and measure student progress. Qualifications • Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) required., • Experience working with neurodivergent learners and special education populations preferred., • Familiarity with IEPs, goal tracking, progress monitoring, and data collection is strongly preferred., • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills., • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned school locations.
