Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 03/09/2026, • Duration: 12 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, • Employment Type: Travel Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Providence, RI Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); rotating nights/days; every other weekend required Job Responsibilities:\t • Provide respiratory care services in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department settings.\t, • Perform airway management including direct intubation, intubation assist*, extubation, oral/nasal airway placement and suctioning, endotracheal suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care/management.\t, • Manage ventilators (Servo I required), BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, troubleshoot high-pressure alarms, and assist with weaning from mechanical ventilation.\t, • Administer respiratory medications including Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic Epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, Xopenex; preferred experience with Bicarbonate*, Inhaled Flolan*, Ketamine*, Mucomyst*, Nitric Oxide (INo), Theophylline.\t, • Set up and manage medication delivery systems: aerosol mask/trach setup, MDI, Medihaler, handheld nebulizer, T-piece, trach collar.\t, • Provide oxygen therapy and support trauma/end-tidal CO2 monitoring*.\t, • Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)*.\t, • Care for patients with COPD, asthma, critical care, emergency conditions; preferred exposure to neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents.\t, • Document electronically (Meditech preferred).Required Qualifications:\t, • Minimum 1 year experience.\t, • Rhode Island State License (pending accepted; must be active prior to start).\t, • BLS certification.\t, • CRT credential required.\t, • RRT credential preferred.\t, • Experience with Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department patients.\t Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
