Experience the vibrant Atlanta healthcare community while making a difference in critical care nursing. • Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 (Midtown – central to city amenities and healthcare facilities), • Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (On-Site), • Start Date: January 5, 2026, • End Date: March 30, 2026, • Contract Duration: 12 weeks, • Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07:00 – 19:00), • Hours per Week: 36, • Unit: 42-bed Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU 6A/6B), • Patient Ratio: 1:2, • Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required, • Orientation: 36 hours, • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1890 - $1940, • Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU RN experience (excluding travel assignments), • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or Compact state (required at submission), • Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association), • Proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system, • Experience with Swan Ganz catheters, manual thermodilution syringe, and epicardial/transvenous pacing wires, • Preferred: Experience in community hospital, LTAC, or Trauma Level I/II healthcare settings, • Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred, • Ability to submit compliance documents and schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing, • Deliver immediate post-open heart surgical care in a high-acuity CVICU environment, • Care for patients with advanced heart failure, multi-vessel disease, coronary artery disease, pulmonary hypertension, and valvular heart disease, • Assist with bedside procedures: bronchoscopies, intubations, tracheostomies, central and arterial line insertions, Swan Ganz catheter line insertions, • Manage patients with LVAD/RVAD, ECMO, CVVHD/CRRT, Impella, and intra-aortic balloon pump, • Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, • Float within the facility and within RN scope of practice as needed, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: IV, PT, RT, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary, • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and complete required orientation modules We believe in empowering your career.
