It is split up into four different age groups, Junior Camp (5-6), 7-9 Camps, 10-12 Camps, and Scions (13-15). 7-9 and 10-12 age groups are broken out into individual “speciality camps” that campers register for. Specialty camps operate as their own independent camp for a portion of the day, and then combine with the rest of the age camps for group activities. Counselors will be assigned weekly to a specialty camp. They will be responsible for those campers, as well as scheduling and leading activities for that camp. Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures. Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions): · Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests / work orders. · Provide services related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal from customer sites. · Overnights Required · Process and prepare Universal Hazardous Waste manifests, bills of lading and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs) for hazardous waste shipment according to state, EPA and DOT regulations. · Performs warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials. Loads, unloads, moves, or stores items according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions and performing general housekeeping · Performs various regulatory compliance and safety tasks including, but not limited to: Pre-trip inspections of vehicle, report all losses, spills, accidents, and safety violations to supervisor immediately and resolve leaking containers/containers in non-D · Classify, segregate, and inventory waste containers in storage for shipment. Conducts lab pack operations. Pack small laboratory containers of chemical waste into larger containers for shipment. · Ongoing contact with all levels of Customers on a daily basis in delivering, promoting, and collecting waste containers. Regular contact with many different levels of personnel. · Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications · Valid Driver License · Must be at least 21 years of age · High school diploma or GED · CDL Class B · HazMat Endorsement Preferred Qualifications: · Some College or waste industry experience · Knowledge of computer software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. · Maintains a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) · Strong working knowledge of Environmental/Regulatory/DOT rules and regulations. Job DescriptionJob Summary This position will be responsible for all driver training functions for the CDL training program at their local campus. The CDL Driver Trainer will have proven longevity in the field, excellent communication skills, and possess demonstrated physical, intellectual, and leadership ability to perform duties over the road, maneuvering range, and in classroom instruction. The CDL Driver Trainer works under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Education, Program Director, Lead Trainer, or their designee.
