Job Description If you’re someone who has spent years managing a household, raising children, coordinating schedules, handling errands, keeping a home together, and making sure everyone around you is taken care of this role may be an incredible fit for you. We’re not necessarily looking for someone with a formal “house manager” title on their resume. We’re looking for someone who naturally notices what needs to get done, stays organized, takes initiative, and enjoys creating calm and structure inside a busy home. This is a busy Scottsdale household with two school-aged children, five dogs (including puppies), and a fast-moving schedule. The principal is looking for someone dependable, proactive, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable stepping into a true support role within the home. The position combines household management, family support, organization, errands, light housekeeping, inventory management, and occasional child-related logistics. Some weeks are more structured, while others require flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly when schedules change. When the children are not in the home, the schedule is generally Monday through Friday around 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. When the children are with the principal, there may be occasional early mornings for school drop-offs, afternoon pick-ups, activity coordination, or same-day schedule changes. Flexibility and reliability are very important for this role. You would help with things like: • Keeping the home consistently clean, organized, and reset, • Laundry, tidying, organizing, and maintaining shared spaces, • Monitoring groceries, household supplies, and cleaning products, • Restocking items before they run low without needing reminders, • Running errands and handling household-related purchases, • Helping create systems, routines, and checklists that keep the home running smoothly, • School drop-offs and pick-ups when needed, • Managing the overall flow of the household and helping reduce stress for the principal, • Keeping track of projects, household needs, and areas that could be improved or better organized The ideal person for this role is: • Warm, mature, and emotionally intelligent, • Extremely reliable and punctual, • Naturally organized and proactive, • Comfortable around children and pets, • Flexible and solutions-oriented, • Someone who notices problems and handles them, • Comfortable working independently without being micromanaged, • Looking for a long-term role with a family A reliable, child-friendly vehicle is required for school-related transportation and errands. Compensation is structured around guaranteed full-time support and flexibility, with target compensation around $30/hour equivalent or $50,000+ salaried depending on experience and structure.
