Job Description Trucking Billing Coordinator Description: Preparing, reviewing, and issuing accurate invoices for all trucking services, including freight hauling, aggregates, and related charges. This role ensures all loads, services and materials are properly billed in a timely manner by verifying tickets, rates, and customer agreements. The Billing Coordinator works closely with dispatch, accounting, and customers to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: · Review daily load tickets, delivery receipts, and dispatch records to ensure all trips are captured for billing. · Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner. · Verify freight rates, fuel surcharges, material charges and other fees against contracts or rate sheets. · Reconcile unbilled order reports to confirm all loads and services are invoiced. · Research and resolve billing discrepancies with dispatch, drivers, and customers. · Maintain organized billing files, load documentation, and customer records. · Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and provide supporting documentation when needed. · Review driver time for Payroll · Collaborate with accounting on accounts receivables, credits, and adjustments. · Cross train with trucking dispatcher Qualifications · Prior billing or accounting experience; experience in trucking, logistics, or aggregates strongly preferred. · Experience with trucking software (TruckMaster preferred, Command Alkon, or similar), NetSuite, and Microsoft Office Suite · Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping. · Pro-active thinker who possesses a sense of ownership in role. · High degree of motivation and ability to anticipate challenges before they arise. · Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced environment. · Excellent organizational, problem solving, and communication skills. Education · Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, Logistics, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
