Our team is focused on execution, accountability, and continuous improvement across every part of the operation. Compensation This position offers a base salary in the range of $70,000 $90,000, based on experience and qualifications. Position Overview The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution and performance of the branches. This role ensures operations run efficiently, teams are trained and prepared, and processes are followed consistently. This is a hands-on, process-driven role focused on execution, accountability, and continuous improvement. Success is measured by operational efficiency, team performance, and the ability to scale systems as the business grows. This role also serves as the field leader for high-value service calls and complex customer situations. Key Responsibilities Branch Operations • Oversee daily operations across both branches to ensure smooth, consistent execution, • Ensure crews are prepared, routes are optimized, and materials are ready each day, • Own routing performance using FieldRoutes (RealGreen experience preferred), • Optimize routes for efficiency, production, and profitability, • Train and develop technicians on systems, processes, and service quality, • Ensure teams are operating with consistency and accountability, • Build, implement, and enforce standardized operating procedures, • Ensure proper use of FieldRoutes and internal systems, • Oversee chemical fills, inventory, and equipment readiness, • Ensure accurate mix rates and proper application processes, • Track key metrics: production, routing efficiency, labor hours, and service quality, • Manage time sheets and labor accountability, • Ensure proper agronomic practices are followed across all services, • Handle high-value and complex service calls, including escalations and key customer accounts, • Serve as the field leader for resolving service issues and ensuring customer satisfaction, • Provide expert-level recommendations and solutions on-site, • Support technicians in the field when elevated service or technical expertise is required, • 3+ years in lawncare operations or branch management (service-based preferred), • Category 24 Certification, Category 41 Certification prefered, • Experience with FieldRoutes or RealGreen strongly preferred, • Strong understanding of routing, scheduling, and field operations, • Working knowledge of turf management and basic agronomic principles (fertilization, weed control, application timing), • Highly organized, process-driven, and detail-oriented, • Execution-focused gets things done, consistently, • Process-driven builds and enforces repeatable systems, • Numbers-oriented uses data to manage performance, • Technology literate leverages systems to improve efficiency, • Routing hours and efficiency, • Production per truck / per day, • Labor hours vs output, • Service quality and rework rates, • Team readiness and training completion
