About the Role: As a CDL Class A Driver, you’ll play a vital role in safely and efficiently transporting materials using a variety of trucks, including tanker trucks, roll-offs, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. You’ll be responsible for vehicle inspections, route planning, recordkeeping, and clear communication with dispatch to ensure timely, compliant deliveries. This position is hands-on and physically active, requiring attention to safety, adaptability to changing conditions, and a commitment to meeting high operational standards. Your work will directly support our mission while providing reliable service to our customers. Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. • Operate and drive different types of trucks, including tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations, • Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic laws, • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage, • Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road, • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulationsQualifications:, • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, • 2 years of previous experience, • Must be 21 years of age, • Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check; which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle review, • Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records, • Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containersWorking Conditions & Physical Requirements:, • Extensively use hands and fingers to manage or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms, • Frequently required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, speak and hear.
