About the Role Facilities Technician: The Facilities Technician (FT) provides the daily care and focused attention necessary to maintain a clean, efficient, and operational environment within the facility. Duties and Responsibilities: The main responsibilities of the Facilities Technician include all aspects of the facility and the departments within in terms of addressing the respective maintenance and repairs necessary to maximize production and prevent failures while maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation inside the facility and production areas. • Responsible for daily sanitation procedures including bathrooms, hallways, break areas, and anything inside/outside of the facility., • Restocks all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), trash, and restroom supplies throughout the building daily., • Perform minor repairs of all buildings and equipment with minimal supervision including but not limited to grow lights, fans, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc., • Perform major repairs at the direction and under the supervision of the Facilites Manager. EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: • Associate’s degree in facilities/construction management, project management or related field, or equivalent combination of demonstrated work experience., • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in commercial and/or residential construction or facilities maintenance which may include plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC systems, mechanical systems, drywall finishing, painting, exterior landscaping/grounds, rodent/bug control, security systems, and general repairs., • Project management skills and ability to supervise renovation/building improvement timelines and contracts., • Experience working with and supervising skilled trades vendors/independent contractors including knowledge of requests for proposal (RFPs), contracts, negotiation, and industry standard pricing costs., • General aptitude in all areas of residential and commercial maintenance., • Ability to lift/move/operate tools, furniture, and equipment., • Knowledge of public safety and security procedures and protocols., • Adaptable to demanding situations and working well under pressure., • Planning, organizational, and time management skills., • High regard for confidentiality and safety of clients, data, and other staff., • Demonstrated aptitude for completion of tasks., • Capability to solve complex problems and demonstrate critical thinking, with the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment., • Must possess a valid New York State Driver’s License and have access to a reliable vehicle for travel throughout the area., • Completion of a satisfactory background check. Job Description About the Role We’re hiring a Lead Carpenter (Working Foreman) to run small crews and perform hands-on carpentry. You’ll set the pace on site, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure quality, safety, and productivity. Long-term role with steady hours and growth potential.
