A Snapshot of Your Day Join our dynamic team where you will engage with operators, engineers, supervisors, and managers to ensure seamless production while upholding Siemens Energy Standards. You will collaborate with operators to address their questions and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication and machining of compressor components. By reviewing specifications and working closely with design engineering, you will tackle questions and product deviations head-on. Partnering with the scheduler, you will ensure timely production delivery by preparing complete routers when needed. You will also have the opportunity to present updates and reports to management on various projects, with your responsibilities evolving daily to meet new challenges and opportunities. How You'll Make an Impact \n • Support production activities by providing answers to process questions and navigating established processes to resolve product non-conformance issues.\n, • Develop and deliver technical documents, estimates, reports, or training materials to enhance team knowledge.\n, • Deliver clear process or design definitions and assess specifications and requirements effectively.\n, • Identify and justify projects aimed at improving manufacturing capabilities, yields, productivity, and capacity, utilizing Lean Principles.\n, • Design, commission, and qualify custom tools, jigs, fixtures, and tests, including gage R&R as required.\n, • A bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, or an associate degree with relevant experience is required. You should have at least 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment involving welding, fabrication, machining, maintenance, and testing on equipment. A minimum of 5+ years of experience is needed for more senior-level consideration.\n, • Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office and CAD/NX software, along with experience in a multi-disciplinary team environment.\n, • Familiarity with lean concepts, MRP systems, and quality control systems is essential. Previous experience with Siemens Energy's customers, equipment, and processes is a plus.\n, • A solid understanding of gas turbine components, with experience in at least one of the following areas: design, manufacture, service, or repair is a must.\n, • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
