Job Title: Loan Support Representative III Job Description The Loan Support Representative III provides advanced administrative and operational support throughout the loan lifecycle, with a strong focus on complex loan documentation, funding, and servicing. This senior-level role partners closely with Loan Officers, branch staff, and centralized operations to support consumer, commercial, and business lending activity while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strict compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The position serves as a subject matter expert and go-to resource for loan documentation and systems, often contributing to training, workflow support, and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities • Prepare, review, and maintain complete and accurate loan documentation for new loans, renewals, modifications, and complex lending structures., • Input and update loan data within core banking and loan origination systems, ensuring information is current, consistent, and reliable., • Coordinate with Loan Officers and branch staff to obtain required documentation from clients and third parties in a timely manner., • Ensure all loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards., • Assist with loan closings by preparing closing documents, coordinating with title companies, and conducting post-closing file reviews., • Manage loan funding activities, including verification of conditions, coordination of disbursements, and confirmation of proper documentation., • Handle loan servicing functions such as loan payments, credit line draws, renewals, and ongoing account maintenance., • Process paid loans, including reconveyances, UCC releases, demand statements, and related documentation to ensure proper lien release., • Prepare and interpret escrow instructions and coordinate with title companies and other third parties to support smooth and accurate closings., • Track loan status from application through closing and funding, proactively following up on outstanding items to meet required timelines., • Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external inquiries related to loan documentation, processing, and servicing., • Support internal and external audits and examinations by gathering and providing requested loan documentation and records., • Maintain organized and up-to-date loan files in both electronic and physical formats, following records management and retention standards., • Provide general administrative support to lending and operations teams, including documentation, reporting, and workflow support., • Act as a subject matter expert or senior resource for loan documentation, systems, and processes, serving as a go-to person for complex questions., • Assist supervisors or managers with workflows, training, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within loan operations., • 4–5+ years of experience in bank loan support or loan operations., • Background working in a bank or credit union environment., • Demonstrated experience handling complex loan documentation, not just high-volume processing., • Strong proficiency in complex loan documentation preparation, review, and maintenance., • Experience with loan funding and loan closings, including coordination with internal teams and third parties., • Hands-on experience with loan renewals, loan servicing, loan payments, and credit line draws., • Experience processing paid loans, including reconveyances, UCC releases, and demand statements., • Ability to prepare and work with escrow instructions and coordinate with title companies., • Basic understanding of loan products and lending processes across consumer, commercial, and business lending., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of documentation and data entry., • Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel., • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with internal teams and external partners., • Customer-service mindset with a professional, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach., • 1–2 years of experience in banking, loan operations, or financial services., • Experience supporting consumer or commercial lending teams, including CRE, C&I, or business loans., • Familiarity with core banking or loan origination systems and loan servicing platforms., • Knowledge of banking regulations and documentation requirements applicable to loan operations., • Prior experience working in a community bank or similar relationship-focused environment., • Experience with multiple borrower and entity types, such as individuals, businesses, and complex ownership structures., • Demonstrated subject matter expert (SME) capabilities in loan documentation or systems., • Experience as a loan support specialist or loan processor., • History of providing training or mentoring to peers or junior team members., • Experience serving as a go-to person for loan documentation or system-related questions., • Experience assisting supervisors or managers with workflows, training, or process improvement initiatives., • Experience with process improvement or workflow ownership within loan operations., • Familiarity with LaserPro., • Familiarity with nCino., • Experience with commercial lending, including CRE and C&I, is highly beneficial., • 401(k) plan with profit sharing and employer match as part of the overall benefits package. This is an on-site role based in a branch or operations office, working Monday through Friday during standard business hours with occasional flexibility based on loan volume. The position operates within a smaller, collaborative team of approximately seven people, offering regular interaction with Loan Officers, branch staff, and operations teams. The environment emphasizes teamwork, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional support, with exposure to a broad range of lending activities including consumer, commercial, CRE, C&I, and business loans. The role uses core banking and loan servicing systems, loan origination platforms, and tools such as Microsoft Office, LaserPro, and nCino. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.64/hr.
