JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Display amazing customer service and positively represent the Van Leeuwen brand, • Maintain sound food handling and cleaning practices, • Exhibit menu and product knowledge, and accurately serve offerings to company standards, • Follow company protocols, driving and safety rules, • Effectively communicate with other team members and management while on shift, • Work happily and respectfully as part of the team, show initiative when needed, • Promote an environment of fun, kindness, and respect JOB REQUIREMENTS • Must be 18 years of age or older (18+), • Food or other customer service experience, • Flexible availability (weekends are a MUST), • Self-motivation and ability to work independently, • Ability to drive an Ice Cream Truck (Food Truck), • Ability to effectively work well as part of a team and autonomously, • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, • Ability to multi-task, • Possess dexterity to prepare and serve guests all menu items in accordance with established service and build-out standards, • Able to push/pull/lift 50 lbs of weight regularly, • Stand for extended periods of time regularly, • Walk up and down stairs regularly, • Stand, bend and reach for prolonged periods of time, • Exceptionally high standards for cleanliness, • Valid driver's license required, • NYC DOH Food Handlers license required WHY VAN LEEUWEN? • Competitive Pay + Tips, • Flexible Scheduling, • Free Ice Cream (One menu-item while on shift), • Positive team environment, • Career development and growth opportunities, • Opportunity to be part of a growing, fun brand!
