Job Description Warehouse Supervisor | 2nd Shift | Full Time Moorestown, NJ area | Fully on-site Tuesday – Saturday OR Sunday- Thursday | 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Must be available to work later during busy periods) The Warehouse Supervisor plays a key role in driving departmental performance by setting clear expectations and making sure team members have the tools, training, and guidance needed to reach and surpass operational targets. This is a 2nd-shift role, which requires scheduled weekend work and occasional extra hours or days when business demands it. Key Responsibilities: • Lead daily warehouse operations, including cleaning, picking, packing, repairing, and processing inventory for both outgoing shipments and returned items, in accordance with the Standard Operating Plan., • Assign and coordinate staff schedules, establish priorities, track workflow, adjust plans as needed, and communicate results through shift production reports., • Sustain high service quality by adhering to company standards and practices., • Promote a safe, organized workspace by training employees on proper equipment use, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with company procedures., • Identify and help resolve operational issues and recommend strategies to inspire employees and support departmental objectives., • Ensure all daily tasks are completed on schedule and that deadlines are consistently met, using Matrix/Units of Measure to track progress., • Oversee the auditing of all incoming and outgoing inventory transactions, depending on assigned department., • Manage labor hours to stay within departmental budget guidelines., • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while holding them accountable for meeting performance expectations., • Review and approve employee PTO requests., • Participate in hiring, training, evaluating, and developing warehouse staff., • Monitor and maintain attendance and timekeeping records (ADP)., • Foster a fair, respectful work environment and support strong employee morale., • Follow all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping programs., • Maintain a strong focus on overall departmental safety. Education & Experience • Associate degree in Business or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline preferred., • 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment required; 5+ years of distribution or warehouse operations experience preferred. Skills & Abilities • Must be fluent in both English and Spanish., • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to direct work efficiently., • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities., • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and take action., • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and solid planning capabilities., • Ability to remain professional under pressure, maintain a sense of urgency, and uphold quality standards., • Customer-focused mindset and strong business acumen., • Effective conflict-management abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Technical Skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience using operations management systems a plus., • Strong mathematical skills.
