Note: Must have an active law license in good standing and at least 2+ years of litigation experience. Wage and hour or employment law experience is preferred, but not required. Job Description • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and other legal proceedings, • Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery, subpoenas, deficiency letters, briefs, and other litigation documents, • Assist with class action, collective action, arbitration, wage and hour, and employment-related litigation matters, • Work with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy, trial preparation, arbitration hearings, and client advocacy, • Review documents produced in discovery and assist with discovery responses, • Participate in settlement negotiations and help move cases toward successful resolution, • Conduct legal research and prepare written analysis on litigation issues, • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, mediators, and internal team members, • Support litigation, briefing, or settlement-focused work depending on experience and strengths Qualifications • JD from an accredited law school, • Active bar membership in good standing, • 2+ years of litigation experience, • Experience with discovery, motions, depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitration, or trial preparation, • Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and communication skills, • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment, • Plaintiff-side, defense-side, wage and hour, employment law, class action, collective action, or arbitration experience is a plus, but not required Why You Will Love Working Here • Meaningful work helping employees pursue compensation they earned, • Multiple attorney openings with room for growth and long-term opportunity, • Strong compensation package with bonus potential and employer-paid benefits, • Opportunity to develop as a litigator, briefing attorney, or settlement attorney, • Collaborative team environment with experienced attorneys and firm resources, • Exposure to sophisticated litigation without requiring prior wage and hour experience, • Confidential hiring process and immediate consideration for qualified candidates JPC-1040 Benefits: • Dental insurance, • Paid time off, • Retirement plan, • Vision insurance
