Responsibilities: The Tower Climber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment on towers and rooftop structures. Duties include climbing and working at elevations, rigging and hoisting equipment, installing antennas, radios, coax, fiber, and microwave systems, performing antenna alignment, and ensuring all work meets engineering specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. You take pride in precision, follow safety protocols, and are motivated to grow your technical skill set in a challenging field environment. Qualifications: • Ability and willingness to climb telecommunications towers, monopoles, and rooftops., • Comfortable working in all weather conditions and physically demanding environments., • Knowledge of tower safety standards, fall protection systems, and safe rigging practices., • Experience or familiarity with installing antennas, radios, coax, fiber, and microwave equipment., • Ability to perform troubleshooting, antenna alignment, and equipment verification., • Understanding of RF safety and job site hazard awareness., • Ability to follow engineering drawings, scope of work, and installation standards., • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship., • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, safety-driven environment., • Willingness to travel as required and work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends., • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Preferred (but not required): • OSHA 10/30, NWSA, RF Awareness, First Aid/CPR., • Experience with sweep and PIM testing.
