Job Description Job Overview We are hiring a Concrete Finisher to support small foundation and flatwork projects, primarily slab pours up to 5,000 sq. ft. Work includes site prep, forming, rebar placement, pouring, and finishing concrete on commercial and some residential projects within a 60‑mile radius of the I‑465 loop (Indianapolis area). This is a hands‑on role with opportunities to expand into carpentry and other construction trades. Responsibilities • Perform concrete site work on active commercial job sites, • Prep sites for concrete pours including walkways, sidewalks, access ramps, and small foundations, • Cut and set forms; place rebar and assist during concrete pours, • Finish concrete using tools such as bull floats, trowels, and screeds, • 3–5 years of residential or commercial construction experience, • General knowledge of concrete placement and finishing, • Experience with carpentry and framing tasks, • OSHA 10 certification (preferred, not required), • Experience with concrete finishing techniques including troweling, broom finishes, edging, and joint cutting, • Ability to read and follow basic construction drawings and layouts, • Comfortable working on a variety of commercial and residential projects You join a company that invests in your development by training and promoting from within, giving you clear paths to grow your skills and responsibilities over time. Work Environment You work on a variety of commercial and residential projects within a 60-mile radius of the Indianapolis 465 loop. The role involves both outdoor works exposed to weather conditions and indoor work around finished products. You can expect a physically demanding and sometimes dirty job, with the understanding that tasks must be completed safely and efficiently. Projects include commercial buildings, institutional facilities, medical spaces, food processing plants, industrial sites, warehouses, and retail environments. Standard hours are Monday through Friday in 8-hour shifts starting at 7:00 a.m., with a paid lunch and overtime as needed. Travel is local within the defined radius, and you will use typical construction tools and equipment appropriate for concrete, carpentry, and framing work. ng work.
