Job Description Foreman, Construction Commercial Construction Pay: $38-$42/hour Work Location: In Person / On Site Job Summary The Foreman plays a critical leadership role in managing field operations and ensuring safety, productivity, and quality throughout all phases of construction projects. This position exists to lead trade teams, coordinate manpower and resources, and uphold company standards while delivering successful project outcomes. The Foreman serves as a key link between field crews, project management, and company leadership. Responsibilities • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and manpower coordination., • Coordinate labor, tools, equipment, and material needs to support production., • Ensure timely material take-offs, deliveries, and inventory control., • Communicate project plans, expectations, and daily goals to trade teams., • Monitor productivity, quality, and job progress; troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed., • Maintain accurate daily reports, labor tracking, and documentation., • Understand contract scope, budgets, and productivity metrics., • Review labor productivity reports weekly and support cost control efforts., • Assist with change order pricing, documentation, and execution., • Oversee installations and perform quality control walks., • Ensure required testing is completed, including duct leakage and pressure testing., • Manage inspections, punch list items, and accurate as-built documentation., • Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures., • Conduct weekly jobsite safety walks and lead safety communications., • Ensure proper PPE usage and safe tool and equipment operation., • Assist with Method of Procedures (MOPs) for shutdowns and critical installations., • Coordinate crane, rigging, and subcontractor services as required., • Mentor, train, and lead tradesmen and support staff., • Collaborate with project management and other trades to resolve field challenges. Qualifications • Proven leadership experience in construction or mechanical trades., • Minimum 1+ year of relevant trade experience in one or more of the following areas:, • Sheetmetal (codes, specifications, drawings, BIM models, and fabrication coordination), • Plumbing (applicable plumbing license required; BIM coordination experience), • Piping (piping systems knowledge, BIM coordination, and fabrication interface), • Strong understanding of safety programs, planning, scheduling, and productivity metrics., • Experience working with BIM, drawings, and trade coordination., • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to mentor, train, and lead teams effectively., • Commitment to company core values and safety-first culture., • Ability to pass a full background screening, including criminal background check, drug test, driving record review, and physical ability test.
