Job Description 1st shift- Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Duties & Responsibilities: • Ensures common carriers are scheduled as well as "will calls" with the carriers, • Communicates with freight carriers on assigned destinations, • Coordinates with drivers and updates customers on the expected delivery status, • Aligns the tracking of driver assignments through our ERP for accurate timelines, • Send, update, and track information required by customers, • Obtain quotes/rates for outside freight, • Monitor inventory and schedule changes and determine appropriate timing for the pick-up, delivery, warehousing and staging of materials, • Interacts with production and customer service personnel in maintaining and adjusting the shipping schedule, maintaining the warehouse inventory, • Coordinate pick-up of stock at corrugated sheet suppliers, • Coordinate work for forklift drivers, • Sets-up delivery appointments Requirements: • MUST have 2-3 years' experience in Dispatching, Shipping, Warehouse and Inventory Control, • Knowledge of corrugated industry, shipping, receiving, inventory control and warehousing control practices, • RF Scanner, • Comfortable working in a fast pace environment, • Ability to communicate with customers and vendor representatives as well as with internal production and customer service personnel, • Ability to readily make and respond to changes in shipping schedules, • Basic Excel data entry experience, • Must be forklift certified, • BOL's (Bill of Ladings), • Bilingual: English & Spanish
