A little about this gig Agility Partners is seeking an IT Delivery Lead (Technical Project Manager) to play a critical, hands-on role in delivering enterprise Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Resiliency capabilities for clients. This individual will be responsible for driving resiliency and recovery initiatives across multiple workstreams, ensuring strong alignment between infrastructure, applications, networking, and cybersecurity. The role focuses on building, testing, and operationalizing recovery capabilities that enable organizations to respond effectively to disruptions. This is an execution-focused leadership role that goes well beyond task coordination. The IT Delivery Lead will proactively manage cross-team dependencies, lead recovery testing and validation efforts, and embed change management, governance, and adoption of resiliency practices into all phases of delivery. The ideal candidate will lead with influence, accountability, and technical depth to ensure successful recovery and resiliency outcomes across complex enterprise environments. Key responsibilities include: • Developing comprehensive disaster recovery and business resiliency plans across infrastructure, application, and network layers, • Ensuring recovery solutions align with business objectives, timelines, and defined RTO/RPO targets, • Driving end-to-end delivery of DR initiatives and failover testing programs, including dependencies across multiple technical teams, • Leading execution of failover and recovery testing to validate systems can be restored effectively during disruption scenarios, • Establishing and tracking KPIs to measure resiliency readiness and recovery performance, reporting progress to executive leadership, • Leading IT delivery governance, including reporting, risk management, and issue resolution for DR and resiliency initiatives, • Managing and executing a structured 12‑month DR testing cadence across global teams (APAC, UK, US), • Selecting and applying the most appropriate delivery methodology (Waterfall, Kanban, Scrum) based on team and workstream needs, • Applying structured change management practices to ensure adoption of resiliency processes and recovery procedures, • Creating and executing communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged, • Developing and maintaining disaster recovery runbooks, playbooks, and governance frameworks, • Defining and overseeing DR testing strategies, including failover, failback, and scenario-based testing, • Ensuring recovery readiness and adoption across impacted business units, • Monitoring post-test results, documenting findings, and driving remediation of gaps or issues, • Driving continuous improvement of resiliency capabilities based on testing outcomes, • Acting as the primary point of contact for DR execution, testing, and resiliency-related activities, • Building strong relationships with business leaders, technical teams, and external partners, • Facilitating decision-making and resolving conflicts to keep recovery initiatives on track, • Providing regular updates to leadership on resiliency posture, risks, and program progress The ideal candidate • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent relevant experience, • 10+ years of experience in IT service delivery or technology project management, • 5+ years of experience executing and driving disaster recovery, business continuity, or resiliency programs, • Strong infrastructure background with emphasis on cross-stack systems, including servers, networks, applications, and backups, • Proven experience designing and executing failover testing and recovery validation, • Experience coordinating global programs across multiple regions and time zones, • Strong understanding of disaster recovery principles, including RTO, RPO, failover, and failback, • Expertise in project management methodologies and agile frameworks, • Experience developing governance frameworks, runbooks, and operational playbooks, • Familiarity with delivery and tracking tools such as Smartsheet and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability without direct authority Reasons to love it • High-impact role supporting enterprise disaster recovery and resiliency programs for Agility Partners’ clients, • Opportunity to lead global DR initiatives with executive visibility, • Hands-on ownership of recovery testing, governance, and continuous improvement, • Exposure to complex, cross-stack recovery environments spanning infrastructure, applications, networking, and security, • Collaborative consulting environment working with distributed, global teams, • Meaningful work helping organizations strengthen operational resilience and business continuity
