Job Summary The Enterprise Applications Administrator will provide Level 3 technical support, administration, and operational oversight for critical enterprise applications including Workday, BillTrust, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), and other key applications. This role serves as the senior technical escalation point for complex application issues, maintains system health and integration reliability, and partners directly with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into system configurations and reporting solutions. The position requires strong SQL expertise, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently across functional teams. Essential Duties Level 3 Technical Support & Administration • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues across Workday, BillTrust, custom integrations and D365 Finance & Operations, diagnosing root causes and implementing permanent resolutions, • Administer and maintain application configurations, security roles, business process definitions, and environment health across all supported platforms, • Perform regular system maintenance activities including patch coordination, environment refreshes, data validation, and performance monitoring for D365 F&O environments, • Manage user provisioning, access controls, and security group configurations across Workday, BillTrust, and D365 F&O, • Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies, failed batch jobs, and processing errors using SQL queries and application diagnostic tools, • Document incident resolution procedures, known issues, and runbooks to improve first-call resolution rates and support team knowledge Workday HRIS Reporting & Integration Administration • Develop, modify, and maintain reports in Workday using Report Writer, including advanced, composite, and matrix report types, • Build and maintain calculated fields and custom report data sources to meet evolving HR, payroll, and finance reporting requirements, • Monitor, troubleshoot, and administer Workday integrations including EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio integrations, and third-party connectors, • Investigate and resolve integration failures by analyzing error logs, reviewing data mappings, and coordinating with upstream and downstream system owners, • Support Workday release management activities including feature review, regression testing, and tenant configuration for semi-annual updates D365 Finance & Operations and BillTrust Administration • Administer D365 F&O modules including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and related financial workflows, • Write and optimize SQL queries against D365 F&O databases for data analysis, troubleshooting, reconciliation, and ad-hoc reporting needs, • Administer the BillTrust platform including invoice delivery configuration, payment processing settings, customer portal management, and user access, • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on system upgrades, hotfixes, and configuration changes across BillTrust and D365 F&O Integration Development & Automation • Design and build simple integrations and automated workflows using Azure Logic Apps to connect enterprise systems and streamline business processes, • Monitor integration health dashboards and proactively address failures, latency, or data quality issues across application interfaces, • Collaborate with the application development team to define integration requirements, data contracts, and error-handling strategies Collaboration, AI Adoption & Work Management • Interact directly and independently with business stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Operations to gather requirements, communicate system changes, and provide status updates, • Leverage AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT for research, troubleshooting assistance, documentation generation, and productivity enhancement, • Use Azure DevOps for work item tracking, sprint planning, task management, and collaboration with the broader IT Application Development team Experience • 5-7 years of experience in enterprise application administration or technical support, with increasing responsibility over Level 2 and Level 3 support functions, • Hands-on administration experience with Workday, • Hands-on administration with D365 Finance & Operations, or BillTrust (or comparable AR/invoicing platform), • Strong SQL proficiency including the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and perform data analysis across relational databases, • Demonstrated experience developing reports in Workday HRIS, including use of Report Writer, calculated fields, and custom data sources, • Experience monitoring and troubleshooting integrations within Workday (EIBs, Studio, Core Connectors) and familiarity with integration middleware concepts, • Experience working with Azure Logic Apps or similar integration/workflow automation platforms (Power Automate, MuleSoft, etc.) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex cross-system issues under time-sensitive conditions, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage independently with business stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar platforms for work management, backlog tracking, and agile collaboration, • Proficiency with AI-powered tools for research, productivity, and technical problem-solving, with a willingness to adopt emerging AI capabilities, • Understanding of ITIL or similar service management frameworks for incident, problem, and change management processes, • Knowledge of construction, facilities management, or building services industry is a plus, • Relevant certifications preferred: Workday Pro certifications, Microsoft
