American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Oregon. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: OR - Operating Room, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 11/10/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Position is in the Operating Room of a Level II Trauma short-term acute care facility, • Performs in a high-acuity surgical environment with ortho, neuro, general/trauma, vascular, endovascular/hybrid, GYN/Uro, ENT/plastics, eyes, and robotics cases, • Handles 60-70 cases per day with a 1:1 RN-to-patient ratio, • Uses DaVinci Robotics (including 5 robots and Xi), Doppler, ultrasound, Neptune, Aquamantis, video systems, lasers, various stapling systems, Hana and Jackson tables, neuro beds with attachments, and cryoablation equipment, • Epic EMR system experience required, • Day shifts with four 10-hour shifts per week (11:00-21:30), • On-call required up to four 8-hour shifts monthly, • No floating required within the facility, • Scrubs provided in the OR, • Perform high-acuity ortho, neuro, and general surgical procedures in a fast-paced OR, • Participate in bi-weekly Monday orientations as part of onboarding, • RTO considered on a case-by-case basis with no stated limitations, • Free parking provided, • Team includes experienced staff with strong support for complex cases, • Candidate may be required to provide two references from the last two years, one of which must be from a supervisor, • Travelers are provided scrubs for the OR\n \n Requirements\n, • Active RN license required (pending accepted with proof of application), • Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS strongly preferred, • Minimum 2 years of recent Level I/II trauma OR experience, including total joints (ortho), craniotomies (neuro), and experience in additional surgical specialties, • 1 year of Epic EMR experience required, • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, • Prior permanent or travel employment at this health system requires a separation of at least one year, • Candidates must reside at least 60 miles away (no locals accepted), • First-time travelers are not accepted, • No more than one DUI conviction permitted\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
