POSITION SUMMARY Assist with planning, organizing and developing the overall emotional and social needs of the residents are met/maintained on an individual basis. Provides general nursing care to residents in the retirement community and health center by performing the following duties listed below. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Connect residents and families to necessary resources and supports in the community., • Encourage residents to participate in healthy activities, example; Edgemere Masterpiece Living., • Perform Resident Psycho social assessments when needed, • Assist /Educate residents and families to participate in decision making when there is a change in health condition., • Help residents/families adjust to admission to Plaza Health care services; possible role changes; exploring emotional/social responses to illness and treatment of a resident., • Educate residents and families on the different levels of health care available; entitlements, community resources and advanced directives., • When needed perform health screening and evaluation of new and current residents., • Follow up with incident reports, explore possible ways of preventing future such incidents., • Work closely with Home Health Providers and assisting residents with coordination of additional services within their apartments., • Enforce the Caregiver Handbook., • Ensure residents are receiving Quality care from caregivers, Follow up with complaints. Educational Requirements and Experience: • One to three years related experience, • Current Registered Nurse/ Licensed Vocational Nurse license in Texas preferred, • Must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population., • Interacts with guests, residents and staff in a courteous and friendly manner., • Responds promptly to resident and visitor needs and assistance., • Supports organization's goals and values., • Balances team and individual responsibilities. Job Description Flava Wings is looking to staff Cashiers at both our Houston area locations! If you are naturally friendly, enthusiastic and love serving others, we would like to meet you! Our Cashiers are critically important to our customer's experience at Flava Wings. In addition to your hourly pay rate, Cashiers can earn cash tips which are given during each shift and tips in bi-weekly paychecks which are given via credit card transactions. Cashiers receive on the job training and are paid their standard pay rate during the training period. Cashiers must: • Be Attentive to detail - every order is customized., • Understand basic math - correctly exchange cash., • Thoroughly fulfill necessary cleaning duties - completing opening and closing tasks lists., • Have at least 1 year of cashiering experience - preferable in a restaurant environment., • Be well groomed - natural colored hair, neat appearance., • Be able to problem solve - think about solutions to issues that may arise., • Be a self starter - do what is needed without always having to be told what to do., • Must be available to work weekends when needed.
