Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by executing regular cleaning routines. Adhere to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines for handling chemical agents safely and responsibly. Utilize janitorial equipment effectively for floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, buffing, and polishing surfaces to ensure pristine conditions. Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to prioritize tasks and ensure consistent quality standards are met. Assist with heavy lifting when moving furniture or large laundry loads while practicing proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with knowledge of sanitation practices. Strong skills in floor cleaning and floor care techniques using various cleaning equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining compliance with safety data sheets (SDS). Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment. Proficiency in vacuuming, general cleaning tasks, and the use of janitorial supplies.
