AI Governance Leader Location: Dallas or Pittsburgh Reports To: CEO Function: Enterprise AI Governance, Risk, Compliance & Responsible AI Company: ___ Role Summary We are seeking an enterprise-scale AI Governance Leader to establish and operationalize the governance, trust, compliance, security, and risk-management framework for CEI.ai’s AI engineering and agentic AI transformation business. This leader will define the governance operating model for: • enterprise AI platforms,, • generative AI,, • agentic AI systems,, • autonomous workflows,, • AI-powered software engineering,, • data/knowledge governance,, • AI security and observability,, • regulatory compliance,, • model risk management,, • AI lifecycle controls,, • and responsible AI adoption. The role will work cross-functionally across engineering, legal, cybersecurity, delivery, product, and client leadership teams to ensure AI systems are deployed responsibly, securely, transparently, and at enterprise scale. Modern AI governance increasingly requires operational controls, observability, and runtime oversight for agentic AI systems—not just policy documents. Key Responsibilities Enterprise AI Governance Strategy • Build and operationalize CEI.ai’s enterprise AI governance framework, • Define governance standards for:, • GenAI, • Agentic AI, • AI engineering platforms, • AI copilots, • Autonomous agents, • AI-powered SDLC, • Establish governance councils, approval workflows, and accountability models, • Develop enterprise AI policies, standards, and operating procedures Responsible AI & Risk Management • Define frameworks for:, • fairness,, • explainability,, • transparency,, • accountability,, • human oversight,, • model monitoring,, • bias mitigation,, • and AI ethics, • Establish AI risk classification methodology, • Lead AI incident response and escalation frameworks, • Define governance architecture for:, • autonomous agents,, • multi-agent systems,, • orchestration layers,, • AI memory systems,, • AI identity management,, • and decision autonomy controls, • Establish runtime guardrails and human-in-the-loop mechanisms, • Ensure alignment with:, • NIST AI RMF, • ISO 42001, • EU AI Act, • GDPR, • SOC2, • HIPAA, • Industry-specific regulations, • Partner with legal and security teams on enterprise compliance, • Partner with cybersecurity teams to secure AI ecosystems, • Define governance for:, • prompts,, • vector databases,, • model endpoints,, • APIs,, • RAG pipelines,, • and AI telemetry, • Implement AI monitoring, drift detection, and operational oversight, • build AI governance practice and deliver AI governance services to clients, • Serve as executive advisor to Fortune 500 clients on AI governance transformation, • Support large AI transformation pursuits and strategic consulting engagements, • Build governance accelerators, frameworks, and reusable IP for CEI.ai, • Represent CEI.ai at conferences, analyst briefings, and governance forums Required Qualifications • 12+ years in enterprise technology, data governance, cybersecurity, AI governance, or risk management, • 5+ years leading enterprise AI, data, security, or governance programs, • Strong understanding of:, • GenAI,, • LLM architectures,, • AI platforms,, • AI lifecycle management,, • and enterprise AI operations, • Experience with enterprise governance frameworks and compliance programs, • Enterprise AI governance framework operationalized globally, • AI compliance readiness across major client engagements, • Reduction in AI risk exposure and shadow AI usage, • Governance integrated into AI engineering lifecycle, • AI observability and auditability established, • Successful support of enterprise-scale agentic AI deployments, • Governance accelerators contributing to CEI.ai differentiation and revenue growth
