Job Description SUMMARY Crescent Events Production is seeking a passionate and highly skilled individual for the Warehouse Support Technician that plays a critical role in that promise by preparing, loading, transporting, receiving, and maintaining the audio, video, lighting, and production equipment used on every show. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, organized, and safety-minded, with the physical capability to handle heavy equipment in a fast-paced warehouse and event environment. You will partner closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, Project Managers, and event technicians to ensure every load-out and return is accurate, efficient, and damage-free. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys working with cutting-edge production technology, and takes pride in delivering exceptional event experiences. NOTE: This position requires a flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays based on event demands. NOTE: This is an individual-contributor role with no direct reports. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following functions are essential to this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). • Pull, stage, and load show equipment from warehouse storage onto company vehicles in accordance with pull sheets and load plans., • Safely and securely strap, pad, and brace equipment for transport to prevent damage in transit., • Drive company vehicles (vans, sprinters, box trucks) to and from event sites in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and DOT regulations., • Load and unload trucks at the warehouse and at event venues using safe lifting techniques and team-lift practices for heavy items., • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 after successful training and certification., • Receive returning equipment, quality-check each item for damage or missing parts and prepare it for the next event., • Perform basic repairs and replacement of equipment components within the scope of training; escalate larger repairs to the Warehouse Supervisor or QC team., • Maintain accurate inventory records in the company inventory management system (currently Intellievent)., • Pick up and return cross-rentals from sub-rental vendors as assigned., • Maintain warehouse organization, including labeling, restocking, and keeping aisles and emergency exits clear at all times., • Perform on-site audio/visual technician duties as assigned, supporting setup, operation, and strike of show equipment., • Identify and report potentially unsafe conditions, equipment defects, or near-miss events to the Warehouse Supervisor immediately., • Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company, including safety footwear, gloves, hearing protection, and high-visibility clothing where applicable., • Support general warehouse housekeeping (trash removal, basic cleaning, organization) to maintain a safe and professional facility., • Travel to event sites as needed, averaging up to two weeks per month., • Perform additional related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Preferred qualifications include: · High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. A two-year technical or associate's degree, or six months to one year of related warehouse, logistics, or live-event experience, is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. · Six months to one year of warehouse, logistics, AV technical, or live-event experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. · Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record. · Ability to obtain and maintain a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (medical card) if operating company box trucks with a gross vehicle weight rating of 10,001 lbs or greater in interstate commerce. · Ability to obtain and maintain OSHA-compliant forklift operator certification (29 CFR 1910.178). Initial training will be provided by Crescent Event Productions, Inc. · Ability to read, write, and communicate in English sufficient to understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. · Ability to use standard inventory, scheduling, and email tools, with a willingness to learn industry-specific systems. · Authorization to work in the United States.
