Job DescriptionControl Panel Assembler-$21-24/hr Shift: 1st Join our team as a Control Panel Technician, where you will be responsible for the assembly of electrical enclosures used for the measurement and control of hydrocarbon and chemical products, and power and water applications. Responsibilities • Assemble electrical enclosures by mounting electronic control hardware as per standards., • Terminate input and output signals from electronic control hardware to termination blocks., • Accurately measure wire lengths based on wire color per I/O channel and strip insulation., • Land each wire end under screw terminals and ensure tight connections., • Proficiency in panel wiring, assembly, and electrical schematics., • Ability to use hand tools such as wire crimpers, wire strippers, pliers, and cordless drills., • Attention to detail in wiring and panel building., • General PC skills with knowledge of Word and Outlook., • Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally., • Ability to stoop, reach into metal enclosures, and handle multiple wires., • Dexterity to terminate small wires into screw terminals. Work Environment The work environment includes a workstation where reaching, bending, and crouching are required, with the option to sit or stand. The area is non-climate controlled, but efforts are underway to make the facility climate controlled. The valve department is already climate controlled. Work hours are typically 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a summer schedule of 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. due to heat. Overtime may require working from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
