American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Charlotte, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 10/13/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Work in a hospital-based interventional radiology department with approximately 400 inpatient census, • Service lines include ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient units, • Procedures performed include GI bleed embolizations, uterine artery embolization, chemoembolization, port access, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, stenting, angioplasty, G/J tube procedures, fistulagrams, venograms, pleurex catheter insertion, PICC and permcath insertions, sheath pulls, and transjugular liver biopsy, • Shifts are 8 hour days from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, • One to two call shifts per week and every third weekend rotation required, • 75% holiday coverage required, • No floating required, • Uses Epic EMR and Philips iSite PACS, with Phillips monitoring equipment, • Daily responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and documenting interventional radiology cases, • Department is supported by techs, radiology nurses, and a radiologist, • There are typically 3 technologists scheduled during the day, rotating roles, • Administrative onboarding is 1 day, with 2 days to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed, • Navy blue scrubs required, • Free parking is provided in surface lots and decks\n \n Requirements\n, • ARRT(R) certification required, • BLS certification required, • Minimum of 3 years' interventional radiology experience required, • Basic proficiency with GI bleed interventions, nephrostomy tubes, IVC filter placement, and suprapubic catheter insertion, • EPIC EMR proficiency preferred, • Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) certification preferred, • First-time travelers will be considered, • Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility, • License required if applicable\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
