BronxWorks is seeking one Program Specialist to join a diverse and enthusiastic team at Cooper Gardens, a multi building supportive housing program located in the Bronx, NY (walking distance to Arthur Avenue.) Cooper Gardens provides services and permanent housing to 95 formerly homeless households, consisting of both individuals and families with children. The ideal candidate is passionate about teamwork, has some experience in office and administrative support, and has an interest in working with the populations we serve. Job Description Property Manager – Millbrook WSFSSH MISSION STATEMENT The mission of WSFSSH is to provide safe, affordable, senior housing that integrates compassionate property management with supportive services to enhance the independence and dignity of each resident. WSFSSH creates and preserves affordable housing while supporting the development of healthy neighborhoods. JOB SUMMARY Millbrook Terrace is an affordable housing development for seniors, located at 570 East 137th Street in the Mott Haven section of The Bronx. The development provides 158 residences, including 48 studio units for formerly homeless individuals. The Property Manager position partners with Social Services staff to collaborate in the development, evaluation and implementation of agency policies, procedures, and programs with the goal of improving the services provided to residents. The Property Manager is responsible for safe operations of the building; staff supervision, operating the property within the budget, facility maintenance, compliance, resident relations and collaborating with the social services team to keep residents stably housed. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Building Management: • Supervise the maintenance, administrative and compliance staff, including:, • 1 Income Certification Specialist, • 5 Front desk staff (24/7 staffing), • 1 superintendent, 1 handyman, 4 porters., • Ensuring building operation continuity. Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION/PURPOSE: The Housing Specialist is responsible for all facets of client case management as it relates to a client's efforts to secure permanent housing. The Housing Specialist will use HPD incentives for finders’ fees to brokers and owners, and develop contacts with both not-for-profit and for-profit housing developers. This role is responsible for ensuring that all clients are familiar with New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) forms and procedures, as well as the procedures for all other housing programs offered. BJI is seeking a Clinical Manager for the borough’s Supervised Release Program (SRP). Reporting to the Director of Practice, Programming and Partnerships, the Clinical Manager will oversee SRP Clinicians who provide intake, assessment, evidence-based group and individual programming to address participant needs and court mandates, and crisis support to participants in need. This position leverages clinical, supervisory, and program management experience to support the SRP Clinicians in the execution of their responsibilities. Specifically, the Clinical Manager will provide SRP Clinicians with supervision and case conferencing in both one-on-one and group formats to ensure program offerings and clinical interventions are carried out thoroughly, ethically, and in alignment with the program model and organizational values.
