Job Description Career and Technical Education (CTE) Health Science Teacher educates middle and high school students in medical and healthcare-related subjects. These roles bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world clinical application to prepare students for entry-level positions or further medical education. • Curriculum Delivery: Instructing students on topics such as anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, patient care, and human body systems., • Skills Training: Demonstrating and supervising hands-on clinical skills, such as checking vital signs, first aid, and the use of medical equipment like EKG machines., • Industry Certification: Guiding students toward professional certifications (e.g., Dental Assisting, EKG Technician) and standardized exams., • Coordination: Managing work-based learning opportunities, including internships, job shadowing, and clinical experiences with local healthcare providers. Qualifications • Possess or be willing to obtain the NJDOE CTE Instructional Certificate with appropriate endorsement., • Possesses a Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in a related field or evidence of employment history of 4 years (8,000 hours)., • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written., • Ability to work with diverse populations.Company DescriptionBogota Board of Education: We are a small public school district serving students from Pre-K until 12th grade in Bergen County, NJ.
