Position Overview: Deliver critical care in a high-acuity Med Surg/Tele unit, monitoring complex patients and responding to rapid changes in condition. Requirements Qualifications: • Education: ADN/BSN from an accredited program, • Licensure: Active, unrestricted NY RN license., • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (must be current or eligible for immediate renewal), • Experience:, • Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and acuity level as the hiring hospital, • Must have experience in Med Surg/Tele unit., • Experience with high patient volume and multidisciplinary teams is strongly preferred, • Travel nurses must have experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers or hospitals of equal or greater size, • Technical Skills:, • Must be Proficient in starting IVs, • Must be able to draw labs independently, • Must be skilled in monitoring and interpreting telemetry (tele), • Must have the ability to quickly assess and respond to changing patient conditions, • Soft Skills:, • Rapid clinical assessment, • Crisis management, • Multidisciplinary collaboration, • Competitive Compensation: $66/hour, • Comprehensive Benefits:, • Sick Leave, • Premium wage
